Bells from the villages

Throughout the festival you could hear bells ringing in village churches around Frome for services and bell-ringing practices.
Tower captains and bell-ringing teams made visitors welcome to watch, listen and sometimes even to join in. There were fascinating ad hoc guided tours, demonstrations and instructive talks. Eleven churches in Somerset, Wiltshire and Bath and North East Somerset took part in Bells from the Villages:
